We all had such a good time shooting the first Joy of Haircut movie, I wanted to capture all that haircut magic again. The gorgeous Betty is always happy to lend an eyeful for the audience and give an ultra short cut, as is the orders! A young buck is a big fan of Betty, saying they want her to totally take control of the hair, the whole Haircut Cinema experience! From shampoo, to combing, to play, to scissors, to clippers, to a final shampoo – this movie takes its time with each aspect of the haircut.
After a loving shampoo in the sink, a second cape is used for the haircut. Betty combs out this thick, almost black hair – it’s so clean and shiny. Grabbing a fist of hair she says “there’s no turning back now…” as the first big slice of hair slides down the cape. You may wonder just what kind of style she’s going for, until you realize she’s just cutting to her hearts content.
Some clippers make their way on screen and Betty starts to really mow things down in a few different stages. Always with a firm hand on the head, and a gentle voice guiding things along – you’ll get a intimate feel of what it might be like to get a haircut from Betty! She’s loving, caring, yet totally in control!
A complete, drastic transformation emerges at the end of this video – giving way to a tougher, androgynous look that’s gaining in popularity these days. It ends with a shampoo, after the haircut – for that extra nice and clean feeling after a cut.
