This is another movie that is a long time in the making! Many years ago, we made a movie called Freshman Year to kick off Mikey’s first year off at college. He wanted to get a new look for school, and that’s just what we did.
So it’s been a few years and Mikey just graduated and completed his degree! While shaving one afternoon, admiring one’s own cuteness – the idea comes across “… I think I just need a haircut…” and when you start thinking out loud of what if you shaved your head, what if was all buzzed off — that would be awesome, right?
After taking care of the beard, getting a nice and smooth look – it’s time for a haircut. This thick dark hair is going to be fun to cut off! It’ll look even better gathered up in the cape. In several stages, the hair is dealt with by a barber – who’s own buzzed haircut seemed to be the inspiration at the end. The hair is cut first with scissors, then with a pair of Oster 76, and then some clippers to shave and carve out a tough new look. Having fun with that much hair is worth slowing down to take one’s time. There’s time to savor the brushing, the stubble, the bristle! In the end, Mikey ends up with a nice shaved head!
